Your Gift Can Last Forever
A gift to endowment can immediately begin supporting the current generation of programming and performing arts students while guaranteeing that support in perpetuity. Donors can create their own endowed funds or give to an existing fund. Endowed funds can be created now in many ways, including cash, stock or retirement distributions.
Donors who contribute gifts of at least $100,000 to the endowment can create their own named endowed fund to support one of our many key strategic areas that make the Straz Center a community, national and world-wide leader in the performing arts.
Funds have been and can be created in the multiple areas. See the full list here.Watch How It Works

An Example of How It Works
Longtime supporters Susan and Charlie have two goals: First, they want to make sure the Straz Center continues to receive support after they're gone. Second, they want to memorialize Charlie's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jones.
Susan and Charlie make a $25,000 donation to the Straz Center, which we invest, and each year, a portion of the income from the invested money will be used to support our mission in honor of the Joneses. Plus, Susan and Charlie qualify for a federal income tax charitable deduction on their taxes.
